Server Moderator
Keep our servers safe, welcoming, and fun. You'll enforce rules, resolve conflicts, and be the first line of support for players.
Responsibilities
- •Monitor in-game chat and player behaviour
- •Enforce server rules fairly and consistently
- •Assist players with questions and issues
- •Report bugs and escalate serious incidents
Requirements
- •Active member of Tropical Network
- •Mature, patient, and level-headed
- •Available at least 5 hours per week
- •Good written communication skills
Plugin / Script Developer
Build and maintain the custom plugins and scripts that power our servers. From FiveM Lua scripts to Minecraft Java plugins — bring ideas to life.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and maintain custom server features
- •Write clean, performant, well-documented code
- •Collaborate with the team on new ideas
- •Review and optimise existing scripts
Requirements
- •Experience with Lua (FiveM) or Java (Spigot/Paper)
- •Comfortable with Git and version control
- •Self-motivated and able to manage your own time
- •Portfolio or examples of past work preferred
Support Team Member
Be the helping hand for our community. You'll handle support tickets, answer questions in Discord, and make sure every player feels valued.
Responsibilities
- •Respond to support tickets and Discord DMs
- •Troubleshoot player issues and escalate when needed
- •Keep the support knowledge base up to date
- •Provide feedback on common player pain-points
Requirements
- •Patient and empathetic communication style
- •Familiarity with our servers and game modes
- •Available for at least 4 hours per week
- •Quick to learn internal tools and processes
Marketing & Social Media
Grow the Tropical Network brand across social media and gaming platforms. Create engaging content and help us reach new players.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and grow our social media accounts
- •Create engaging posts, threads, and announcements
- •Plan and execute community events and giveaways
- •Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements
Requirements
- •Proven experience managing social media accounts
- •Creative eye for content and copywriting
- •Familiarity with gaming culture
- •Consistent, reliable availability
Content Creator / Streamer
Stream or create content featuring Tropical Network servers. Grow your channel while helping us reach a wider audience.
Responsibilities
- •Stream or post videos on our servers regularly
- •Represent Tropical Network in a positive light
- •Collaborate on sponsored events and spotlights
- •Provide honest feedback on the player experience
Requirements
- •Active channel with consistent uploads/streams
- •Genuine passion for gaming content
- •Willingness to feature Tropical Network monthly
- •Professional communication with staff
Graphic Designer
Create stunning visuals for our community — from Discord banners and server artwork to social media graphics and promotional material.
Responsibilities
- •Design graphics for announcements and events
- •Create and maintain brand-consistent assets
- •Produce thumbnails, banners, and social media visuals
- •Work closely with the marketing team
Requirements
- •Proficiency in Photoshop, Figma, or similar tools
- •Portfolio showcasing relevant design work
- •Strong sense of composition and colour theory
- •Responsive and meets agreed deadlines
